The idea in one line
Your best customer shouldn't be a dead end. It should be a starting point.
Lookalikes lets you find more companies and people that resemble examples you already trust — and keep growing any list without ever paying twice for the same lead.
It works two ways.
Way 1 — Clone your best customer
Start from examples instead of filters.
Paste one or more companies you'd love more of — by name or by domain — tell Agent Jesse what you're looking for, and it finds similar businesses live from across the internet.
Here's the part people love: your seed list can be exactly one entry. Drop in a single customer's domain, and Agent Jesse treats that one company as the template — fanning out to find businesses that look and behave like your best customer. One winner in, a whole audience out.
How it works:
- Choose Companies or People as your target type.
- Paste your seed list — one per line. Each line can be a company name (e.g. Stripe) or a domain (e.g. stripe.com).
- Describe the kind of companies you want, add your product URL, and tell Agent Jesse what you do.
- Pick how many to find — anywhere from 25 up to 500 in a single run.
- Hit Find Lookalikes. Agent Jesse returns a fresh, enriched list of matches.
Example: Seed it with Stripe, Plaid, Brex, Razorpay, and Mercury, describe them as "payment infrastructure and fintech companies," and Agent Jesse returns up to 500 companies in the same category — payment processors, embedded-finance platforms, and money-movement APIs — discovered live, not pulled from a stale database.
Way 2 — Extend a search instead of restarting it
This is the one that quietly saves you real money.
Say you started today by finding payment infrastructure companies in the US and pulled 50 enriched leads. Tomorrow you want 100 more. With traditional tools, you'd run a brand-new search, gamble on overlap, and almost certainly pay to rediscover leads you already had — then clean out the duplicates by hand.
With Lookalikes, you just extend the same list.
How it works:
- Open Lookalikes and find your search under Extend a recent search.
- Choose how many more you want — 25, 100, 200, or more.
- Click Run Lookalike. Agent Jesse appends fresh matches to the same list.
The duplicate problem, solved
When you run a second standalone search on the same audience, traditional tools happily hand you many of the same leads again — and charge you for every one. You pay twice, then waste time de-duping.
Extending a list is different. Agent Jesse already knows every lead on that list, so it deliberately skips them and searches only for new, unseen matches. Every credit you spend goes toward a lead you don't already have.
That means:
- No wasted credits — you never pay to rediscover a lead already on the list.
- No manual cleanup — duplicates are filtered out before they ever reach you.
