Agent Jesse vs RocketReach: which should you use in 2026?
RocketReach is built to look up the email and phone number of the people you search for. Jesse is built to find which companies to contact, by searching the live internet for a buying signal. RocketReach's paid plans start at $69 a month, or $399 a year, per seat. Jesse starts free, then $9 a month.
If you are comparing RocketReach alternatives more broadly, see our guide to RocketReach alternatives. This page compares the two tools head to head.
Jesse vs RocketReach: which should you pick?
Pick Jesse if your problem is who to contact this week.
You want companies that just did something: raised a round, opened a location, pulled a permit, started hiring. You want to describe that buyer in one sentence and get the evidence attached to every row.
Pick RocketReach if your problem is reaching people you already chose.
You have names, a LinkedIn tab open, or a target account list. You want a verified email and mobile number for each person, a Chrome extension, and records pushed into Salesforce, HubSpot or Bullhorn.
RocketReach answers "how do I reach this person?" Jesse answers "which companies should I be calling right now, and why?" Most tools people compare with RocketReach, like ZoomInfo, Apollo.io and Lusha, answer RocketReach's question. Jesse starts from the event instead.

Why choose Jesse over RocketReach?
How is Jesse's live search different from RocketReach's lookups?
RocketReach starts from its stored index. You run a filter or AI search, type a name, or open a LinkedIn profile, and RocketReach reveals the contact details. Its filters, lookalikes and Autopilot narrow the list, but they search a fixed set of fields.
Jesse starts from a description of the buyer. "Dental groups in Texas that opened a new location in the last 60 days." Jesse works out which signals matter, searches the live internet, and returns the companies with the source attached. Then it enriches the contact if you ask.
RocketReach's signals are job-change, job-posting and news filters, plus intent on Ultimate. Its AI search and MCP still query those stored fields. Jesse searches the open web for the event itself, so it can be anything the web reports: a permit, a listing, a local news story.
How fresh is Jesse's data compared with RocketReach's?
RocketReach maintains a stored index. Its help center says over 85M profiles are refreshed each month, and contacts are verified when you look them up. That keeps a known person's email current.
Jesse keeps no stored list to refresh. Every query runs against the live internet, so a company that raised money this morning can appear this afternoon. The trade-off is honest: Jesse is built for discovering accounts, and RocketReach is built for reaching named people.
How accurate is RocketReach's data?
RocketReach reviews are split on accuracy. As of 11 October 2026, RocketReach holds 4.4 out of 5 from 1,385 reviews on G2. Accurate contact info is the top praised theme (273 mentions), while inaccurate data (115) and outdated contacts (110) are the top complaints.
RocketReach claims 98% deliverability for A-grade emails, an email fill rate of 85% or better, and a phone fill rate of 60% or better. A lookup is only charged if a verified email or phone is found. Test 50 records against your own ICP before you prepay a year.
Is RocketReach for sales or for recruiting?
Both. RocketReach describes itself as an email finder for sales and recruiting teams. That is why Pro and Ultimate integrate with Bullhorn, a recruiting system, as well as Salesforce and HubSpot. Jesse is built for sales and marketing prospecting only.

How do RocketReach lookups and exports work?
RocketReach meters two things: lookups and exports. Monthly plans cap lookups, at 100, 250 or 1,000 a month. Annual plans make lookups "unlimited" under a fair-use cap of 10,000 a month, but cap exports for the whole year.
On annual plans, exports are used when you download contacts to CSV, enrich an uploaded list, sync contacts to a CRM, bulk-export with Autopilot, or pull contacts through the API or MCP. A team that pushes every contact to a CRM spends exports fast. Jesse has one credit meter: a search costs 10 credits, an email 5, and a phone number 30 with the email included.
Where RocketReach is the better choice
- High-volume lookups of named people. RocketReach's annual plans include unlimited lookups up to 10,000 a month. If you already know who you want, that is a large allowance per seat.
- A Chrome extension on LinkedIn and company sites. RocketReach's extension reveals contacts on LinkedIn profiles, Recruiter and Sales Navigator profile pages, and most company websites. Jesse has no browser extension.
- CRM and ATS integrations out of the box. RocketReach Pro and Ultimate push records to Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft and Bullhorn natively. Jesse offers API, MCP and n8n access from $29, but the connection is yours to build.
- Outreach in the same tool. RocketReach Sequences send up to 500 emails a day. Jesse finds the buyer and stops there.
- Recruiting teams. RocketReach is built for recruiters as well as sellers, with Bullhorn support and personal-email lookups. Jesse is built for sales and marketing prospecting.
Where Jesse is the better choice
- Finding companies by any event. RocketReach's signals are fixed filters on its stored index: job changes, job postings, company news, and intent on Ultimate. Jesse finds companies by any event the web reports: funding, hiring, a new location, a permit, a filing.
- Markets LinkedIn describes badly. Real estate, construction, local services and trades. A LinkedIn extension works where buyers keep polished profiles. Jesse's live search works where the signal is a permit, a listing or a local news story.
- A low price without a yearly commitment. RocketReach's cheapest effective rate needs a $399 annual prepayment, non-refundable after a 7-day window to switch to monthly. Jesse Pro is $9 a month, billed monthly.
- Phone numbers on the cheapest paid plan. RocketReach Essentials returns emails only; phones start on Pro at $119 a month. Jesse Pro offers phone enrichment from $9 a month, at 30 credits per number.
- One meter instead of two. Jesse counts credits only. RocketReach counts lookups and exports separately, and annual export caps do not refill monthly.
Who is Jesse best for, and who is RocketReach best for?
Choose Jesse if… you sell into markets where timing matters more than title, you would rather describe your buyer in a sentence than build a filter stack, or you want published monthly pricing without an annual prepayment.
Choose RocketReach if… you already know who to contact, you work from LinkedIn or a recruiting system, and you need a high volume of verified emails and phones with CRM sync and sequences built in.
Choose ZoomInfo if… you are an enterprise team that wants org charts, direct dials and intent data, bought through a sales-led quote. See Jesse vs ZoomInfo.
Choose Apollo.io if… you want contact data and sequences on one published per-seat plan, with dialing on higher tiers. See Jesse vs Apollo.io.
How to switch from RocketReach to Jesse
If your harder problem is deciding which accounts to work, here is the order that keeps what works.
- Write your best RocketReach search as a sentence in Jesse. Take your most-used filters and add the event that usually comes before a purchase. Jesse's free plan gives you 1,000 credits, about 100 searches, with no card.
- Compare one campaign. Send to a RocketReach list and a Jesse list in the same week. Measure reply rate, not list size.
- Decide what RocketReach is still for. If the answer is bulk mobile numbers for named people, keep it and feed it Jesse's CSV export instead of a guessed list.
- Check your renewal date. RocketReach renews automatically for the same period, and payments are non-refundable. Cancel in Account Settings → Usage & Billing before the renewal date.
- Move your workflow, then the budget. Connect Jesse to your CRM through n8n or the API on the $29 Business plan before your RocketReach term ends.

Yes, and it is a sensible pairing. Use Jesse to find companies showing a buying signal now, export the results to CSV from the $9 Pro plan, then look up the decision-makers in RocketReach. Teams with RocketReach's unlimited annual lookups get the most out of this, since the lookups are already paid for.

You can cancel RocketReach anytime in Account Settings → Usage & Billing, and access runs to the end of the billing cycle. RocketReach's terms say all payments are non-refundable.
