Agent Jesse vs LinkedIn Sales Navigator: which should you use in 2026?
LinkedIn Sales Navigator is built to research and reach people inside LinkedIn's network, with filters, InMail and relationship paths. Jesse is built to find which companies to contact, by searching the live internet for a buying signal. Sales Navigator Core costs $119.99 a month, or $1,079.88 a year. Jesse starts free, then $9 a month.
If you are comparing LinkedIn Sales Navigator alternatives more broadly, see our guide to Sales Navigator alternatives. This page compares the two tools head to head, and shows how they work together.
Jesse vs Sales Navigator: which should you pick?
Pick Jesse if your problem is which companies to contact this week.
You want companies that just did something: raised a round, opened a location, pulled a permit, started hiring. You want to describe that buyer in one sentence and get the evidence attached to every row. You also want emails, phones and a CSV export.
Pick Sales Navigator if your problem is reaching the right people through LinkedIn.
You already sell on LinkedIn. You want to map a buying committee, find a warm path through a colleague, spot job changes and message leads by InMail. On Advanced Plus, you want all of it synced to your CRM.
Sales Navigator answers "who should I talk to at this account, and how do I reach them on LinkedIn?" Jesse answers "which companies should I be calling right now, and why?" The questions come in sequence, so the two tools can work together.

Why choose Jesse over Sales Navigator?
How is Jesse's live search different from Sales Navigator's filters?
Sales Navigator starts from LinkedIn's own data. You pick lead or account filters, such as seniority, headcount growth or changed jobs in the past 90 days. It returns LinkedIn members and company pages, and Lead IQ and Account IQ summarize them with AI.
Jesse starts from a description of the buyer. "Dental groups in Texas that opened a new location in the last 60 days." Jesse searches the live internet and returns the companies with the source attached, then enriches the contact if you ask.
Sales Navigator's signals come mainly from LinkedIn activity: job changes, posts, open jobs, headcount growth and, on Advanced plans, Buyer Intent, which includes visits to your website. Account IQ adds public information to account summaries. Jesse searches the open web for the event itself, such as a permit, a filing or a local news story.
How fresh is Sales Navigator's data compared with Jesse's?
Sales Navigator's data comes from LinkedIn itself. It flags leads who changed jobs in the past 90 days or posted in the past 30. LinkedIn describes its alerts as real-time signals, such as job changes and new content.
Jesse keeps no stored list to refresh. Every query runs against the live internet, so a company can appear as soon as the web reports the event. The trade-off is honest: Sales Navigator sees what happens on LinkedIn, and Jesse sees events reported across the open web.
What do Sales Navigator reviews say?
As of 11 October 2026, LinkedIn Sales Navigator holds 4.4 out of 5 from 2,211 reviews on G2. G2's AI-generated themes put lead generation (98 mentions) and ease of use (86) at the top of the praise, followed by LinkedIn integration (63) and contact information (40).
"Expensive" is the top complaint (44), followed by missing features (37), the learning curve (18) and integration issues (18). No Jesse Research test has been run against Sales Navigator yet. Use the one-month trial to run your own ICP search before you commit to a year.
Is Sales Navigator a contact database or a LinkedIn search tool?
It is a search tool over LinkedIn's network, not a contact database. A Lead Page shows contact information if the member has added it, if you or a teammate entered it, or if CRM Sync pulled it from your CRM.
LinkedIn Help says Sales Navigator has no option to export lead or account information as a CSV or XLS file. On Advanced Plus, records move into your CRM through CRM Sync instead.

How does Jesse's pricing compare with LinkedIn Sales Navigator's cost?
| Plan | Jesse | Sales Navigator |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 — 1,000 credits for search, no card | No free plan listed; one-month free trial of Core or Advanced |
| Entry | Pro $9/mo — 1,000 credits/mo, CSV export, email and phone enrichment | Core $119.99/mo or $1,079.88/yr per license; single user, 50 InMails/mo |
| Mid | Business $29/mo — 8,000 credits/mo, API, MCP, n8n | Advanced $159.99/mo or $1,799.88/yr per license; adds Buyer Intent, TeamLink, Smart Links |
| Top | Max $100/mo — 30,000 credits/mo, priority support | Advanced Plus: quote only; adds CRM Sync and Embedded Profiles |
| Teams | Custom plan via sales | Advanced Plus priced by team size, CRM integration and training needs |
| Billing | Monthly, or annual at 22% off | Monthly, or annual (LinkedIn cites 25% off Core, 6% off Advanced) |
What this table shows: a solo seller can run Jesse Pro for a year for $108 on monthly billing, less on annual. Sales Navigator Core costs $1,079.88 a year on annual billing, about $89.99 a month. That price buys LinkedIn search, InMail and relationship data, not email or phone data.

How do Sales Navigator InMail credits and limits work?
Every Sales Navigator plan includes 50 InMail credits per user a month and up to 10,000 saved leads and accounts per user. InMail lets you message LinkedIn members without an introduction or their contact information.
LinkedIn's plan pages list no email or phone credits; contact details appear only where the member, your team or your CRM provided them. If you cancel, InMail credits expire at the end of the billing cycle.
Jesse has one credit meter. A search costs 10 credits, an email 5, and a phone number 30 with the email included.
Where Sales Navigator is the better choice
- Warm paths into an account. Relationship Map and Relationship Explorer show buying-committee gaps and mutual connections. TeamLink, on Advanced and Advanced Plus, finds colleagues who can introduce you. Jesse has no relationship data.
- Job changes and activity for LinkedIn members. Sales Navigator flags leads who changed jobs in the past 90 days or posted in the past 30. That data comes from LinkedIn itself.
- Reaching people without their contact details. Every plan includes 50 InMail credits per user a month. Jesse has no built-in messaging; you send from your own tools.
- Buyer intent from LinkedIn engagement. On Advanced and Advanced Plus, Buyer Intent flags accounts engaging with your company through InMail, ads, Page views and profile views. Jesse cannot see engagement with your LinkedIn presence.
- Enterprise CRM sync. Advanced Plus syncs with Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Oracle Sales, and logs InMails and notes back to the CRM. Jesse offers API, MCP and n8n access from $29, but the connection is yours to build.
Where Jesse is the better choice
- Finding companies by events off LinkedIn. Sales Navigator's signals come mainly from LinkedIn activity and engagement with your company: job changes, posts, open jobs, headcount growth and Buyer Intent. Jesse finds companies by events the web reports, such as funding, a new location, a permit, a filing.
- Markets where the buying signal isn't on LinkedIn. In real estate, construction, local services and trades, the signal is often a permit, a listing or a local news story. Sales Navigator works best where buyers keep active LinkedIn profiles; Jesse's live search can find those off-LinkedIn events.
- Emails and phones on the same plan. Sales Navigator does not supply an email or phone database. Jesse Pro adds email and phone enrichment from $9 a month, at 5 credits per email and 30 per phone.
- A list you can take with you. LinkedIn does not offer CSV export from Sales Navigator, and saved leads and accounts are removed as soon as you cancel. Jesse exports results to CSV from the $9 Pro plan.
- A lower entry price for solo sellers. Jesse Pro is $9 a month, billed monthly. Sales Navigator Core is $119.99 a month, or $1,079.88 a year.
Who is Jesse best for, and who is Sales Navigator best for?
Choose Jesse if… you sell into markets where timing matters more than title, you would rather describe your buyer in a sentence than build a filter stack, or you need emails, phones and a CSV export from $9 a month.
Choose Sales Navigator if… your buyers are active on LinkedIn, you sell through warm introductions and InMail, and you want buying-committee research inside LinkedIn, with CRM Sync on Advanced Plus.
Choose ZoomInfo if… you are an enterprise team that wants org charts, direct dials and intent data, bought through a sales-led quote. See Jesse vs ZoomInfo.
Choose Apollo.io if… you want contact data, sequences and a dialer on published per-seat plans. See Jesse vs Apollo.io.
How to use Jesse alongside Sales Navigator
The two tools cover different steps. Here is an order that uses each for what it does best.
- Find the accounts in Jesse. Describe your buyer and the event that usually comes before a purchase. Jesse's free plan gives you 1,000 credits, about 100 searches, with no card.
- Move the list into Sales Navigator. Export Jesse's results to CSV on Pro. On Advanced or Advanced Plus, upload the CSV as your book of business; on Core, save the accounts by hand.
- Research the people in Sales Navigator. Use Relationship Map, Account IQ and Lead IQ to find the buying committee. On Advanced, check TeamLink for a warm introduction.
- Reach out through the right channel. Use InMail for people you can only reach on LinkedIn. Use Jesse's email and phone enrichment for the rest, sent from your own tools. Do not add scrapers or automation tools to Sales Navigator; LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits them.
- Check your Sales Navigator renewal date. A free trial becomes a paid subscription one month after it starts. Cancel at least one day before renewal if you don't want to continue.

No. LinkedIn Help says Sales Navigator has no option to export lead or account information as a CSV or XLS file.
