Agent Jesse vs Clearbit: which should you use in 2026?

Clearbit now lives inside HubSpot as Data Enrichment, and it no longer offers new standalone subscriptions. Pick HubSpot's enrichment if your CRM is HubSpot. Pick Jesse if you need to find new companies with a buying signal, or you run on another CRM. Jesse starts free, then $9 a month.

If you are comparing Clearbit alternatives more broadly, see our guide to Clearbit alternatives. This page compares the two head to head.

    What happened to Clearbit?

HubSpot bought Clearbit, completed the deal on 4 December 2023, and has since folded Clearbit's data into HubSpot itself. Clearbit's homepage now reads "Clearbit has joined HubSpot!" and shows no price or buy button.

    • September 2024: HubSpot launched Breeze Intelligence, its enrichment and buyer-intent product, rebuilt from Clearbit's functionality.
    • 30 April 2025: Clearbit retired its free tools: the free Clearbit Platform, Weekly Visitor Report, TAM Calculator, the Clearbit Connect browser extension, and the free Slack integration.
    • 8 December 2025: Clearbit shut down the public Logo API for all users, paid or free.
    • May 2026: a HubSpot employee confirmed Breeze Intelligence is now called Data Enrichment and is included with paid HubSpot plans.

Existing paid Clearbit customers were told in October 2025 that support continues "business as usual." HubSpot has published no end date for the paid Clearbit APIs.

Jesse vs Clearbit: which should you pick?

Pick Jesse if your problem is which companies to contact.

You want companies that just did something: raised a round, opened a location, started hiring. You describe that buyer in one sentence and get a list with the evidence attached. Your CRM can be anything, or nothing.

Pick HubSpot Data Enrichment if your problem is filling in records you already have.

Your CRM is HubSpot. Contacts arrive through forms and imports, and you want job title, seniority and company size filled in automatically, plus the companies visiting your site.

Clearbit answers "what do I know about this record?" Jesse answers "which companies should I be calling right now, and why?"

Disclosure: Jesse is made by Floworks. It is checked here against the same points as Clearbit.

    Why choose Jesse over Clearbit?

How is Jesse's live search different from Clearbit enrichment?

Clearbit enrichment starts from a record you already have. A form fill or an import arrives, and HubSpot adds job title, seniority, industry and size. That improves records. HubSpot can also add companies from market segments (beta), but without contact emails.

Jesse starts from a description of the buyer. "Logistics companies in Ohio that opened a new warehouse this year." Jesse searches the live internet, returns the companies with the source attached, then enriches contacts on request with emails and phone numbers.

Does Jesse replace the Clearbit API?

Partly. Jesse's API, MCP server and n8n access start on the $29 Business plan, so a workflow or AI agent can search and enrich programmatically. HubSpot staff said in March 2025 that HubSpot has no API to replace Clearbit's Company and Logo APIs; the equivalent features work inside the CRM only. Jesse's API returns search results and contacts; it is not a drop-in replacement for Clearbit's endpoints.

    What do Clearbit reviews say?

Clearbit holds 4.4 out of 5 from 632 reviews on G2, as of 11 October 2026. Reviewers praise ease of use and implementation; Clearbit scores 9.1 for ease of use. The lowest sub-score is product direction, at 7.7. The most common complaint is inaccurate or outdated data, especially for small companies; price and limited credits come up less often.

How much does Clearbit cost now?

As of 11 October 2026, Clearbit has no price of its own. Its data is part of HubSpot, where standard enrichment uses no HubSpot Credits but needs a paid plan. Buyer intent and smart properties do use credits.

What this table shows: for a team already paying for HubSpot, Clearbit's enrichment now costs nothing extra. For a team not on HubSpot, clearbit no longer offers new standalone subscriptions, and Jesse's paid plans start at $9 a month.

Where Clearbit (HubSpot) is the better choice

    • Your CRM is HubSpot. Data Enrichment fills contact and company fields automatically and keeps them updated monthly. It uses no credits on a paid plan. Jesse does not enrich CRM records in place.
    • You want to see which companies visit your site. HubSpot Buyer Intent matches visitor IPs to companies, a similar job to Clearbit Reveal. Jesse does not identify website visitors.
    • Adding companies from a target segment inside HubSpot. HubSpot can create company records from market segments (beta, 10 credits each), though without contact emails.
    • Shorter forms. HubSpot form shortening hides fields that enrichment can fill, so visitors type less. It uses no credits and needs HubSpot's updated form editor.
    • One vendor, one bill. If HubSpot already runs marketing and sales, adding enrichment adds no new contract, login or integration to maintain.

Where Jesse is the better choice

    • You don't use HubSpot. Clearbit no longer offers new standalone subscriptions. Jesse exports to any CRM by CSV, or connects through API, MCP or n8n from $29.
    • You need emails and phone numbers. HubSpot staff say HubSpot does not provide contact emails or direct phones. Jesse enriches emails for 5 credits and phones for 30, from Pro.
    • You need new accounts, not better records. Enrichment improves contacts you already have. Jesse finds companies that just raised, hired or expanded, with the dated source on every row.
    • You lost Clearbit Connect or the free tools. Jesse's free plan gives 1,000 search credits with no card. Jesse has no Gmail or Chrome extension, so it does not replace Connect inside your inbox.
    • You need programmatic access. Jesse's API, MCP server and n8n access start at $29 a month. HubSpot staff say no HubSpot API replaces Clearbit's Company and Logo APIs.

Who is Jesse best for, and who is Clearbit best for?

Choose Jesse if… you sell on timing signals, you want to describe your buyer in a sentence, or you need emails, phones and an API without moving to HubSpot.

Choose Clearbit (HubSpot Data Enrichment) if… your CRM is HubSpot and you want records, forms and website visitors enriched automatically inside it.

Choose ZoomInfo if… you are an enterprise team that wants org charts, direct dials and intent data, bought through a sales-led quote. See Jesse vs ZoomInfo.

Choose Apollo.io if… you want contact data and sequences on one published per-seat plan, with dialing on higher tiers. See Jesse vs Apollo.io.

    How to replace Clearbit

Most teams searching for Clearbit today lost a free tool or an API they relied on. Here is the order that keeps what works.

    1. List what you used Clearbit for. Enrichment, Reveal, Connect, the Logo API and the Salesforce integration each have a different replacement.
    2. If you run HubSpot, switch on Data Enrichment. It is included with paid Starter plans and above. Buyer Intent covers a similar job to Reveal.
    3. Find new accounts and contacts in Jesse. Write your ICP as a sentence and add the event that comes before a purchase. The free plan gives 1,000 credits, about 100 searches.
    4. Rebuild API workflows. If your product called Clearbit's API, test Jesse's API on the $29 Business plan before your legacy contract ends.
    5. Check your renewal. HubSpot subscriptions auto-renew and prepaid fees are not refunded. Turn off auto-renew in Account & Billing before the term ends if you are leaving.

    Frequently asked questions

What is Clearbit, and what does it do now?

Clearbit is a B2B data enrichment provider that HubSpot acquired in December 2023. It now calls itself "the first HubSpot Native Data Provider." Its data powers HubSpot Data Enrichment, formerly Breeze Intelligence, which fills in contact and company fields. HubSpot Buyer Intent, which identifies companies visiting your site, replaced Clearbit's free Weekly Visitor Report.

Is Clearbit still available in 2026?

Partly. Existing paid Clearbit customers are still supported, according to HubSpot staff in October 2025. But Clearbit no longer offers new standalone subscriptions, its free tools closed on 30 April 2025, and the Logo API closed on 8 December 2025. For new buyers, Clearbit's data is available through paid HubSpot plans.

How much does Clearbit cost in 2026?

As of 11 October 2026, Clearbit has no standalone price. HubSpot Data Enrichment, built on Clearbit's data, is included with paid HubSpot plans from Starter up and uses no HubSpot Credits. Tracking a buyer-intent company costs 10 HubSpot Credits a month, and extra credits cost $10 per 1,000. Jesse's plans are $0, $9, $29 and $100 a month.

What happened to Clearbit Connect and the free Clearbit tools?

Clearbit retired its free tools on 30 April 2025. That included the free Clearbit Platform, the Weekly Visitor Report, the TAM Calculator, the Clearbit Connect browser extension, and the free Slack integration. HubSpot staff have said there is no equivalent Chrome plugin to replace Clearbit Connect. Jesse offers a free plan with 1,000 credits but no browser extension.

Is the Clearbit Logo API still working?

No. Clearbit shut down the public Logo API at logo.clearbit.com on 8 December 2025, for all users including paid customers. Clearbit's changelog says paid customers can still get logos through the Company Enrichment and Name to Domain APIs. HubSpot staff said in October 2025 that the paid Person and Company APIs were not affected by the Logo API shutdown.

Does Clearbit give you email addresses and phone numbers?

Not for contacts. HubSpot Data Enrichment adds a company's main business phone number, but no contact emails or direct phones. A HubSpot staff member wrote in April 2025 that "HubSpot does not provide contact information like email addresses." Enrichment adds fields such as job title, seniority and LinkedIn URL. Jesse enriches a work email for 5 credits and a phone number for 30, from its $9 Pro plan.

Does Clearbit still work with Salesforce?

Only for existing Clearbit customers, as far as public documentation shows. Clearbit's help center still documents its Salesforce integration, with no sunset notice, but HubSpot's Data Enrichment pages do not mention Salesforce. Clearbit no longer offers new standalone subscriptions, so new Salesforce buyers can't add it. Jesse has no native Salesforce integration; send results by CSV, or by API, MCP or n8n from $29.

Does HubSpot share my enrichment data with other customers?

HubSpot published new terms on 1 July 2026 under which enrichment data could be shared with other customers, with customers opted in by default. On 5 July 2026 it withdrew them and promised future enrichment using customer data would be opt-in. Its knowledge base says limited data may still be contributed when HubSpot can verify a record, but not from continuous enrichment alone.

Clearbit vs ZoomInfo: which is better?

ZoomInfo is an enterprise data platform with org charts, direct dials and intent data, priced by quote. Clearbit is now an enrichment layer inside HubSpot. On G2 in October 2026, ZoomInfo's GTM Workspace scores 4.5 and Clearbit 4.4. Clearbit scores higher for ease of use; ZoomInfo scores higher for support and product direction.

Clearbit vs Apollo.io: which is better?

Apollo.io is a standalone prospecting tool with contact data, sequences and dialing, with plans from a published $49 per user a month on annual billing. Clearbit enriches records inside HubSpot and provides no contact emails there. On G2 in October 2026, Apollo.io scores 4.7 and Clearbit 4.4. Choose Apollo.io to prospect; choose Clearbit to enrich HubSpot.

What's the difference between Jesse and Clearbit?

Jesse finds companies; Clearbit enriches records. Jesse searches the live internet on every query and returns companies with a dated buying signal, from one sentence, starting at $9 a month. Clearbit, now HubSpot Data Enrichment, fills in fields on contacts and companies already in HubSpot, and is included with paid HubSpot plans.

What's the best Clearbit alternative if I don't use HubSpot?

It depends on the job. For finding new companies with a buying signal, plus emails and phones, Jesse starts at $9 a month and exports to any CRM by CSV, or connects by API, MCP or n8n from $29. For contact data with sequences, Apollo.io is a published self-serve option. See our guide to Clearbit alternatives.

Can I use Jesse with HubSpot Data Enrichment?

Yes. Use Jesse to find companies showing a buying signal and their contacts, then import them into HubSpot by CSV from the $9 Pro plan, or by API or n8n from the $29 Business plan. HubSpot Data Enrichment then fills in firmographic fields on those new records, at no credit cost on a paid HubSpot plan.

Is there a free Clearbit alternative?

Yes. Jesse's free plan gives 1,000 credits, about 100 searches, with no credit card; email and phone enrichment start on Pro at $9. Apollo.io's free plan gives 900 credits a year. HubSpot's free tools show basic company details such as industry, country and employee count. Clearbit's own free tools, including Connect, closed on 30 April 2025.
