Jesse vs Snov.io: which should you pick?

Pick Jesse if your problem is which companies to contact this week.

You want companies that just did something: raised a round, opened a location, pulled a permit, started hiring. You want to describe that buyer in one sentence and get the evidence attached to every row.

Pick Snov.io if you want emails found, verified and sent from one account.

You already have a target list or a LinkedIn search. You want emails found and verified, mailboxes warmed up, and sequences sent, with a free CRM and HubSpot or Pipedrive sync on the same plan.

Snov.io answers "how do I reach this person by email?" Jesse answers "which companies should I contact right now, and why?"

What this table shows: Snov.io is stronger on finding and verifying emails, sending campaigns, warm-up and CRM sync. Jesse is built for finding which companies to contact from events reported on the open web, with a dated reason on every row.

Disclosure: Jesse is made by Floworks. It is checked here against the same points as Snov.io.

    Why choose Jesse over Snov.io?

Snov.io has a real AI feature for search. Its AI Search lets you describe target prospects in plain language. Snov.io says "AI will automatically set the search filters based on your criteria," and those filters run against its stored database.

The filters are fixed fields such as job title, skills, location, management level, department, industry, company size, revenue, specialties and founding year. That makes AI Search a fast way to build a filter stack. It cannot look for an event that has no field. Snov.io's AI web enrichment, "Fill out from web", can research recent funding, launches or leadership changes. It works only for companies already on your list, and it uses tokens.

Jesse starts from a description of the buyer and the event. "Dental groups in Texas that opened a new location in the last 60 days." Jesse searches the open web for that event. The event can be a permit, a listing or a local news story.

How fresh is Jesse's data compared with Snov.io's?

Snov.io keeps a stored database. Its help center says the database "keeps growing" as contacts are added and updated, and that it verifies every contact found through its prospecting tools. Its Generect enrichment also pulls live LinkedIn profile data on request.

Jesse keeps no stored list to refresh. Every query runs against the live internet, so a company can appear as soon as the web reports the event. The trade-off is honest: Jesse is built for discovering accounts, and Snov.io is built for reaching and emailing people.

How accurate is Snov.io, and what do reviews say?

Snov.io reviews are mostly positive. As of 11 October 2026, Snov.io holds 4.5 out of 5 from 499 reviews on G2. Ease of use is the top praised theme (157 mentions), followed by customer support (81), simplicity and features (75), and lead generation (62).

The top complaints are email issues (39 mentions), email management and missing features (26 each), and price (22 "Expensive" mentions). Snov.io claims its 7-tier verifier delivers "98+% accuracy." Test 50 records against your own ICP before you buy a larger plan.

Is Snov.io an email finder or a cold-email tool?

Both. Snov.io's Sales Suite plans bundle email finding, verification, multichannel campaigns, warm-up and a CRM that Snov.io says is free on every plan. Phone and enrichment data run on a separate token balance. LinkedIn automation is a paid add-on. Jesse covers only the first step: deciding which companies to contact.

What this table shows: Jesse costs less per month at entry, $9 against $39. Plan for plan, Snov.io costs less per email. By Snov.io's own figures, a credit costs 3.9¢ on Starter and about 0.9¢ on Pro M. By our arithmetic, a Jesse email (5 credits) costs about 4.5¢ on Pro and 1.7¢ on Max.

How do Snov.io credits, recipients and tokens work?

Snov.io meters three things. Credits pay for finding and verifying emails. Recipients pay for the first contact with each lead, and tokens pay for phone numbers, enrichment and AI tools.

A found email costs 1 credit if its status is valid or unknown, and nothing if none is found. Each lead costs 1 recipient on first contact, and follow-ups in the same period are free. Unused recipients expire every billing period.

Plan tokens reset every 30 days, from 75 on Starter to 750 on Ultra. Extra tokens cost $0.02 each and last 90 days, so by our arithmetic a phone number via Wiza works out to $0.20. Jesse has one credit meter: a search costs 10 credits, an email 5, and a phone number 30 with the email included.

Snov.io's pricing page says unused credits "expire every 30 days" but can roll over on annual plans or with plan renewal enabled.

Where Snov.io is the better choice

    • Cheaper emails at volume. Snov.io says one credit costs about 0.9¢ on Pro M, and a found email costs one credit. By our arithmetic ($100 ÷ 30,000 credits × 5), a Jesse email on Max costs about 1.7¢ before any search credits.
    • Finding, verifying and sending in one account. Snov.io runs campaigns with unlimited mailboxes, warm-up, mailbox rotation, A/B testing and a shared Unibox. Jesse finds the buyer and stops there.
    • CRM sync out of the box. Snov.io includes a free CRM and two-way HubSpot and Pipedrive sync from the $39 Starter plan. Jesse offers API, MCP and n8n access from $29, but the connection is yours to build.
    • A Chrome extension on LinkedIn and company sites. The Snov.io Email Finder extension lists 400,000 users on the Chrome Web Store. Its LinkedIn Prospect Finder works on profiles and Sales Navigator searches. Jesse has no browser extension.
    • Teams on one plan. Snov.io's paid plans include unlimited team seats. Jesse includes one seat per plan.

Where Jesse is the better choice

    • Finding new companies by an event. Snov.io's AI Search builds database filters, and its web enrichment researches events only for companies you already have. Jesse finds companies by events the web reports, such as funding, hiring, a new location, a permit.
    • Markets LinkedIn describes badly. Real estate, construction, local services and trades. A LinkedIn extension works where buyers keep polished profiles. Jesse's live search works where the signal is a permit, a listing or a local news story.
    • A reason to reach out on every row. Each Jesse result carries a dated rationale and a named source. That gives the first line of the email before you open a sequence.
    • A lower monthly entry price. Jesse Pro is $9 a month with email and phone enrichment. Snov.io's Starter plan is $39 a month, and its Trial excludes export and bulk search.
    • One meter instead of three. Jesse counts credits only. Snov.io counts credits, recipients and tokens, and recipients do not roll over.

Who is Jesse best for, and who is Snov.io best for?

Choose Jesse if… you sell into markets where timing matters more than title. It also fits if you would rather describe your buyer in a sentence, or want a dated reason to call on every lead.

Choose Snov.io if… you already know who to contact and want emails found, verified and sent from one account. Warm-up, a free CRM and HubSpot or Pipedrive sync come included.

Choose ZoomInfo if… you are an enterprise team that wants org charts, direct dials and intent data, bought through a sales-led quote. See Jesse vs ZoomInfo.

Choose Apollo.io if… you want contact data, sequences and a dialer on published per-seat plans. See Jesse vs Apollo.io.

How to use Jesse alongside Snov.io

Jesse and Snov.io do different jobs, so many teams can run both. Here is the order that keeps each tool on its strength.

    1. Describe your buyer and the event in Jesse. Take the account type you usually target and add the event that comes before a purchase. Jesse's free plan gives you 1,000 credits, about 100 searches, with no card.
    2. Export the companies to CSV. CSV export starts on Jesse Pro at $9 a month. Keep the dated rationale column; it becomes your opening line.
    3. Upload the CSV to Snov.io. Snov.io's bulk search takes a CSV of names and domains, then finds and verifies emails. Each valid or unknown email costs one credit.
    4. Send the campaign from Snov.io. Put Jesse's "why now" in the first sentence. Snov.io charges one recipient per lead on first contact, and follow-ups in that period are free.
    5. Compare reply rates, then check your renewal setting. Measure replies against your usual Snov.io list. Snov.io plans auto-renew by default; turn renewal off in Billing if you plan to stop.

What's the difference between Jesse and Snov.io?

Jesse finds companies; Snov.io finds and emails people. Jesse searches the live internet on every query and returns companies with a dated buying signal on every row, from $9 a month. What's the best Snov.io alternative for finding which companies to contact?

If your harder problem is choosing accounts, Jesse is built for that: describe the buyer and the event, and get companies with a dated source. Jesse Pro is $9 a month. If you mainly need emails and sequences, Apollo.io bundles both on per-seat plans. See our guide to Snov.io alternatives.

Can I use Jesse and Snov.io together?

Yes, and it is a sensible pairing. Use Jesse to find companies showing a buying signal now, and export them to CSV from the $9 Pro plan. Upload the CSV to Snov.io to find and verify emails, then send the campaign there. Put Jesse's dated reason in the first line of the email.

Can I cancel Snov.io and get a refund?

You can cancel Snov.io by turning auto-renewal off in Billing. Access and export run to the end of the billing period, then the account moves to the free plan. Export your lists before the plan ends.

Does Snov.io's AI Search find buying signals?

Not as a way to find new companies. AI Search turns a description into database filters such as job title, industry, size and revenue. Snov.io's "Fill out from web" enrichment can research recent funding or launches for companies already on your list, using tokens. Jesse searches the open web for the event itself to find the companies, and cites the source.

Find the buyers first. Then send the email.
